Proof in projects

Here are just a few examples that show what we deliver:

Project: World’s largest heat pump being built in Mannheim, Germany
Scale and role: World’s largest 165 MW river heat pump, transforming Mannheim’s Grosskraftwerk site into a cornerstone of MVV’s fully decarbonized district heating system by 2030.

Why it matters: Delivers clean, renewable heat for 40,000 households, cutting CO₂ emissions and setting a global benchmark for sustainable urban energy transformation.
Project: Equip B427 Bad Bergzabern Tunnel with Advanced Safety & Traffic Systems, Germany
Scale and role: 1.44 km tunnel, full electromechanical systems including power, ventilation, automation, traffic monitoring, and safety; €25M contract; completion 2027.

Why it matters: Improves traffic flow, ensures tunnel safety, and promotes sustainable mobility in Bad Bergzabern and surrounding communities.
Project: Štěchovice Lock Upgrade, Czech Republik
Scale and role: New waiting areas above and below the lock; floating dock (3×10 m), 30 m concrete wall with cameras and communication systems; construction started October 2025, completion expected Summer 2026; budget CZK 64.5 M (~EUR 2.65 M).

Why it matters: Enhances safety and efficiency for recreational boaters on the Vltava; advanced monitoring and safety features ensure smoother navigation at one of Europe’s tallest lift gates (24 m).
Project:Thermal Energy Accumulation East Bratislava, Slovakia
Scale and role: Construction of a 3,000 m³ accumulation tank with 20 MWt charging/discharging capacity, heat exchangers, circulation pumps, power distribution, and associated technical infrastructure; contract value €6.8 M.

Why it matters: Reduces primary energy consumption by 4,102.3 MWh/year, lowers CO₂ emissions, and supports peak heat demand efficiently; 80% of demolished materials from the former fuel oil storage will be recycled.
