Biogas production and processing

We use various types of organic waste to produce biogas and can process it further to biomethane, which finally substitutes natural gas. With our Amine scrubbing process we can also separate carbon dioxide from flue gas streams to further recover or capture it (Carbon Capture and Utilization – CCU).

Renewable energy generation

We take available heat from rivers and lakes, sewerage runoff, waste heat from data centers and industrial processes in large heat pumps to generate heat that can supply thousands of households with district heating. Or superheat it to steam for industrial processes which substitutes fossil fuel. In Geothermal power or heating plants we use the hot thermal water from thousands of meters below ground for electrical energy generation and/or district heating before it is recirculated in the underground again

Waste treatment

In the waste treatment business, we keep nutrients in circle at composting plants which generate valuable fertilizer out of our biowaste and recycle secondary raw materials from waste streams.

Our role and strength in projects

In all our work areas and fields, we are searching for customized solutions, based on our own, partly patented technologies and with our own engineers and specialist. As a pioneer for biogas technology our track record in plant engineering and construction goes back to the 1980s. Since then, our product and technology portfolio continuously developed based on own R&D as well as company acquisitions until the status we have today. Based on our technologies, we can offer our customers comprehensive and sustainable solutions as technology packages or even turnkey plant solutions up to operating models.
