Congratulations to the team in India: International award for safety!
We are proud to report that two of our key projects in India have been recognized at the International Safety Awards 2025. These accolades, presented by the British Safety Council, are among the most respected in the industry and serve as a testament to our global dedication to a "Zero Harm" culture. Winning these awards requires a rigorous evaluation of safety management systems, leadership commitment, and onsite implementation.
Distinction for the MTHL Project
The Mumbai Trans Harbour Sealink (MTHL) project, managed by STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions (SISS), has been recognized as a "Distinction Winner." As India's longest sea bridge, the project presented unique logistical and environmental challenges. Achieving the highest tier of recognition, the Distinction level, highlights the team's ability to maintain complex safety protocols while delivering critical intelligent transport infrastructure in a high-pressure environment.
Merit for the Agra Underground Metro
In addition, Efkon India Pvt. Ltd. received the "Merit Winner" award for the AGCC-02 Agra Underground Metro Rail Project (UPMRCL).
